“Stories Unsheltered” is an interactive public installation created by students in the UC San Diego Design Lab to create empathetic conversations about the housing crisis in San Diego and invite community members to engage with the topic. The project is a part of the Bay To Park Paseo initiative, an all-volunteer project to design and build a unique, 1.7-mile impermanent pedestrian experience that connects two crown jewels of San Diego, the Bay and Balboa Park.
