Gio's Story

Gio, a foster youth, shares his family story, hopes, and dreams with maturity and grit, making you overlook that he is only 18. Despite being scattered across thestreets of San Diego, his family of nine remains tightly knit, continuously offering supportand guidance to one another. Today, Gio is determined to lift his family out ofhouselessness by training diligently with his father to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a professional boxer.

Mona's Story

Caught in the system’s blind spot, Mona, a single mother of three, was unhoused, despite having a steady job. As she navigated through the unjust practices of a rental agency, she found herself living in a stairwell–her resilience and integrity unbroken. With her daughters by her side, they embark on a new beginning.

Felix's Story

Felix had once lost faith and hope while living on the streets of San Diego. During his darkest days, he found resurrection through his community, who gave him a hand when he was at his worst. Now, Felix takes on various impactful roles, dedicated to giving back to his community and empowering individuals through storytelling.
